In particular, it refers to a plot of land inherited by Mr. Walter Smith (“Mr. Smith”), the great, great grandfather of Jonathan Nathaniel Jervis (“the Claimant”). Mr. Smith, along with his sister, Ms. Naomi Smith, were ‘willed’ the plot from their grandmother, Ms. Joanna Talbot.
